A native of Mississippi, Sherilyn graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in Business and went on the earn an M.B.A. at the University of Southern Mississippi. After working in the banking industry, she joined the family business as owner/operator of children’s residential healthcare facilities in Arkansas and Mississippi. She married her husband, Red Hunt, in 1999 and moved to Corpus Christi with her two daughters. Following Red’s retirement after a 40 year career with Coastal, Valero and NuStar Energy, they moved to Rockport. Sherilyn joined Luce Properties in 2013 and says it is the most rewarding job she has ever had and appreciates being a part of Team Luce. |
